There are 12 wild cats in the subfamily Pantherinae. Although this is generally considered to be the subfamily of big cats, they range in size from the huge Tigers of Thailand to the much smaller Eurasian Lynx, found in parts of Europe. Like all wild cats, those in this subfamily are meat-eaters.
